Join 40,000 walkers across the country to support the Best Buddies programs in your schools, workplaces, and communities. You’ll be making the world more welcoming to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities – one friendship, one job, and one life-changing connection at a time.
Step 1: Register yourself and your team and share it with your personal network. Start fundraising; we’ve got some amazing stuff you can earn the more you raise.
Step 2: Month of Movement: During the month of April, we challenge you to get outside and focus on your mental and physical health.
Step 3: Walk Week: In your community, raise awareness by walking for 89 minutes during the week of April 25- May 1 with your friends, family, team, or colleagues while maintaining safe social distancing recommendations.
Step 4: Walk Day: At 10:00 am PST join us for a brief 30-minute celebration ceremony at the event website or on Facebook, then join our emcee on Instagram Live immediately following while you walk in your neighborhood. You may even get the opportunity to be added in live! Please ensure you are practicing social distancing and safety recommendations.
