Event Description:

Partnering for Business Success

Building upon the idea that a business is better positioned for long-term success with the right partners on board, this panel brings together three professionals—an accountant, an attorney and a business banker. They’ll discuss their roles and collaboration as external experts helping business clients achieve their goals. In an open dialog, the three panelists will cover best practices, considerations when selecting outside experts and why it’s important to have a team of trusted professionals supporting your company’s profitability and long-term success.

Our speakers:

Sean T Boyd:

CPA, CFP, CVA. His three professional designations; CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFP (Certified Financial Planner), and CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst) place him in a professional category that less than 1% of all U.S. CPAs have achieved.

He is one of California's most highly regarded and sought after CPAs, specializing in small business and real estate taxation, with plenty of client testimonials to speak to this.

His 20+ years of experience include:
• CFO for a company where he took them from $8 million in sales to $20 million in an 18-month period
• Hand selected to help an “A List” movie star through bankruptcy;
• Court appointed receiver for multi-million-dollar corporation
• Managed five-million-dollar real estate portfolio in three states
• Former Trustee for million-dollar non-profit
• Working with hundreds of small business owner’s following his “tax strategy and wealth maximization” techniques.

Sean graduated from George Mason University with a dual major in finance and accounting. After working for the largest Washington DC based CPA firm, he moved to South Lake Tahoe in 1999 to be a glorified ski bum, however, his career followed him and he developed and refined his client niche between powder days. While in Tahoe he was the assistant mogul coach for Heavenly Valley Ski Foundation's freestyle team and has coached and developed three athletes to the U.S. Ski Team.

He is married to Andrea Boyd and they have been married since July 2004. He has been told on more than one occasion that he married up for his ability. Together, Sean and Andrea teach a 13 week class on finances called Money Metamorphosis. Their two boys, Jeremy and Josh, are normally pool side during the summer and racing down the slopes in the winter, Sean could not be any happier than when he is with his family and can be seen taking evening walks with them during what he calls “life’s perfect time”.

His key to success … applied knowledge is power.
