Join Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento, Mayor Darrell Steinberg, the Sacramento Gay Men’s Chorus, the Sacramento Children’s Chorus, St. John’s Lutheran Church Choir, and local faith leaders and representatives from across the Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and non-denominational interfaith communities for an evening of song, celebration, and unity like you have never seen before.
Led by acclaimed choral director Steven Johnson, this first ever “Unity Concert” will officially launch the kick off of Habitat’s 2nd “Build for Unity” Project – a community and multi-faith collaboration piloted in Sacramento which has now spread nationwide and seeks to bring people together of all different creeds, colors, and communities to counter intolerance and build homes.
This free Unity Concert will be an evening of multicultural immersion, complete with performances by local artists representing Sacramento’s diverse community and a reception with light bites following.
Please note, though free to attend the Unity Concert is raising support and awareness for the Habitat for Humanity Build for Unity project.
