Workshop will include an assessment of the risk to your business should a natural disaster, such as a fire or flood, hit the Capital Region. Includes free resources and checklist to help you outsmart disaster for your business.
The workshop is made possible through a partnership with the Metro Chamber and the California Business, Consumer Service and Housing Agency.
Workshop will be led by recognized business resiliency expert Nora O'Brien. Ms. O’Brien is the CEO of Connect Consulting Services, Inc., an emergency management and business continuity planning firm. She has served as a Contributing Writer for Emergency Management Magazine and an Instructor for FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness and is a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) from the International Association of Emergency Managers. She has a Master’s in Public Affairs with a concentration in Disaster and Emergency Management. Connect Consulting Services was named the 2018 Sacramento SBA Woman-Owned Business of the Year.
