The diagnosis of a progressive disease like Parkinson's Disease (PD) has physical, emotional, financial and spiritual impacts on not only the PD patient, but their family and care partners as well. Family and/or Care Partners are an intergral part of a PD person's successful treatment, well-being and quality of life. This presentation will explore how families can be involved with the treatmeant plan of care for PD patients by working with medical professionals and connecting with benefical resources and support throughout the disease process. This presentation will also provide an overview of the services the Parkinson Assosciation provides in our communuity.
