As part of their Northern California tour Tintabulations Handbell Ensemble is coming to Sacramento! Delighting audiences for over two decades, Tintabulations' 2018 Spring-Summer concert series finds them celebrating their 21st birthday! This high energy, innovative ensemble of hugely talented, fiercely dedicated musicians is led by the preeminent and cutting edge leader in the handbell world, Barb Walsh. Weaving some familiar and memorable melodies of our past with other dynamic pieces, some well known classically and others of a more contemporary nature, TIntabulations treat their audience with their personal touches of individuality, creativity, humor and pure enjoyment and passion for handbells. Known for their melodic joy and sharing the musical world of handbells with anyone who will listen, their extreme talent and enjoyment is a palpable presence to all in the room. Entertaining and enthralling audiences locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, Tintabulations was asked to be one of only two handbell ensembles to represent the United States at the International Handbell Symposium in Vancouver, BC during the summer of 2016. The ensemble has recently been invited to tour Denmark! With a broad age range of its members from college students to retirees, Tintabulations is a Reno based non-profit ensemble, drawing its passionate member base from a large area encompassing Reno, Sparks, Chester, Grass Valley, Carnelian Bay and Bishop. Free of charge and enjoyed by all ages, come join the festivities with Tintabulations' "Coming of Age".
