Spend one day caring for your community Sept. 21-22 during United Way’s annual Day of Caring, sponsored by Nationwide. Join 1,000 local residents for more than a dozen volunteer projects happening at nonprofits and schools across the region. As part of Day of Caring, United Way and Robla School District will host the Robla I Care Fair for families on Sept. 22 at Robla Community Park, 625 Bell Avenue in Sacramento. The event will include family activities and resources for United Way’s Square One Project that is working to increase the number of students who graduate from high school prepared for college or career.
