Shriners Children’s Northern California is the flagship hospital for Shriners Children’s, the world’s largest pediatric health system. • The Neil Reitman Pediatric Burn Institute at Shriners Children’s Northern California is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading pediatric burn research and treatment centers. It is the largest pediatric burn treatment center in North America and is the only dedicated pediatric burn program verified by the American Burn Association (ABA) for much of the western United States.
• Our Pediatric Colorectal Center is the only comprehensive program of its kind in California, and one of only eight such programs in the United States.
• Our cerebral palsy and spina bifida programs are nationally and internationally recognized for excellence in research and care.
• The Shriners Children’s Northern California inpatient rehabilitation program is the only pediatric IRU in the greater Sacramento region and has received honors from The Joint Commission for National Quality Approval, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists.
