SACRAMENTO, CA – The Sacramento Metro Chamber is now accepting nominations to honor regional leaders for their dedication to service, inclusion, and for creating more vibrant communities as part of the 132nd Annual Dinner & Business Awards. The nomination period is now open and the deadline to nominate is Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The coveted, high-profile event will take place on Friday, January 22, 2027, at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in downtown Sacramento.
“Each year, we are incredibly impressed and inspired by so many deserving individuals who are recognized as part of our annual Business Awards program, and we trust this year will be no exception,” said Robert Heidt, President & CEO, Sacramento Metro Chamber. “Our Annual Dinner & Business Awards is one of the region’s premier events and is a legacy program for the Metro Chamber. We encourage the community to submit nominations for amazing individuals who are helping to shape the future of the region so we can shine a light on their accomplishments and contributions.”

Hosted first in 1895, the Annual Dinner & Business Awards is the Metro Chamber’s longest running event. Since its inception, business leaders, community stakeholders and members gather annually to salute board leadership, recognize dedicated changemakers, and celebrate the Capital Region.
